View the Photo Album It was a cold and wet day, but we had fun! One group of POPB volunteers dug post holes, poured concrete and erected the signs which are visible from the main road traveling in both directions. The other group of volunteers disassembled three raised beds and reassembled the beds in a new area for the hardscape. The whole gang then pitched in and moved two piles of rocks into the newly created bins. Finally, above and beyond the original project, one volunteer helped tear down an old workshed to make extra room for the new season’s grasses and plants. We all learned a lot while we were there. This is POPPA’s 4th year of operations, and in the next few months will be celebrating the spay/neuter of their 10,000th animal! Proceeds from all sales are used to fund spay and neuter operations; directly reducing the number of homeless animals in our community. FYI The month of March is “Tom and Mom Cat Special” at POPPA.
